Former Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Adijat Adeleye, has charged members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Campaign Council to embrace discipline and a result-oriented approach to grassroots mobilization.

Adeleye gave the charge at the inauguration of the council held at Ifo Town Hall, Ifo, Ogun State, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking shortly after the inauguration, Adeleye, who is also the APC candidate for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, said the 2027 elections require coordinated, disciplined and structured engagement at the grassroots.

She noted that the newly inaugurated council would work with the existing local government campaign councils to strengthen stakeholder engagement and polling-unit coordination.

She added that the campaign itinerary would include ward-by-ward mobilization and engagement with traditional rulers, religious institutions, market associations, youth and women groups, artisans, farmers, transport workers and other segments of the electorate.

Party chairmen in Ifo and Ewekoro, Olumide Oduwole and Ayinde Sogbamu, respectively, Deputy Director General, Israel Jolaosho, and other chieftains present, urged members to work for victory of all APC candidates.

The campaign director general later presented appointment letters to Jolaosho, Lukman Kiadese as Secretary, and Wole Enilolobo as Chairman, Independent Campaign Group.
