‘Beg my father to set me free’ – Singer Adelakun’s 37-year-old daughter cries out

Funmi Adelakun, the daughter of a respected Nigerian gospel singer, Joseph Adelakun, has called out her father online.

The 37-year-old in a video shared by Megatestimony on social media, accused the televangelist of maltreatment and holding her hostage.

While pleading with the general public to help her beg the musician to set her free, Funmi who has reportedly ran away from her family house in Lagos, said “I need my freedom. They should stop monitoring me.”

While lamenting her inability to make life choices, she added, “Good day everyone, my name is Funmi Adelakun. What I need is your help, please help me beg my father to set me free. I need my freedom because what is happening now is very deep. I need my freedom, they should stop monitoring me, and try to have access to things about me.

“This has been going on for a long time. I need my freedom and this is the height of it. I will explain better soon.”

DAILY POST reports that as of the time of filling this report, the singer is yet to react to the call out or reply to a message from our reporter.
