The former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District and former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 election, Dino Melaye has accused President Bola Tinubu of distributing funds gained from the fuel subsidy removal to state governors in exchange for their votes and support in 2027.

Speaking in a statement issued on his X handle on Thursday, Melaye stated that President Tinubu believe he is clever for diverting subsidy proceeds to governors.
